• Question: how do birds learn to fly?

      Partly instinct partly by watching their mothers, much like we do as babies when learning to walk. If you have watched birds fly for the first time it is very funny as some really end up flat on their face on the ground. If you watch puffins fly, even as adults they look like they are flying for the first time! It is very funny as they are so fat they look like they shouldn’t be able to fly at all!
