• Question: My sister would like to know..... what day is the end of the week Saturday or Sunday

      Well in my opinion its sunday…couldn’t tell you why, just think it is

      I think that Saturday is the last day of the week and Sunday is the first day of the week. I know this because the names of the days in the Greek language, Monday is ‘Deftera’ which essentially means the second day, meaning that the previous day i.e. Sunday is the first day…!

      I think it has to be Sunday as the ‘Sunday feeling’ is that sad feeling you get when you realise tomorrow is the start of a new busy week!

      For most official organisations I think the new week starts at 12.00am on Monday mornings. I guess different religions may have different answers, although I am no expert here!

      I reckon nobody should tell your sister what to think and she can decide herself which day is the end of the week. It’s entirely up to her as far as I’m concerned.
