• Question: could the hidrogen bomb distroy the world?

      Hi Rob,

      Well one H-bomb will not be able to destroy the world (although it would cause a lot of damage). Several H-bombs could conceivably destroy most of the living world as we know it today. But life (especially microbes) is pretty resilient and would be able to bounce back if such a terrible catastrophy were to ever happen. I don’t like the thought of it though..!
      I am strongly against nuclear weapons and see no justification for their existence.

      A single one couldn’t, but many of them in the wrong hands could. The thought leaves me very cold.

      one alone couldn’t..unless you consider its use as a trigger for a full scalw nuclear war…but no I don’t believe a single one has that power….yet
