• Question: how come fewer women become proffessors

      Lots of reasons, some women decide that they would like to have children and leave science or spend less time on it. Some find it hard to battle against the men atthe top and feel they have to be much better than men to be promoted. I have not found this to be the case in my work butI know women who have said this especially in places like Oxford where the science is so competitive.
