No you don;t have a weak immune system. perhaps you have a problem in yur nose that prevents you from breathing through your nose? Need to see a doctor and explain your problem. It is best of one breaths through the nose rather than through the mouth for many reasons. Otherwise we would not have a nose…!

It’s very difficult to say Rachael I’m afraid. I’d listen to what the medical doctors have to say about that.

Some people are more susceptible to colds than others, it could be because of your immune system or that you are around people with colds more or could be genetic. Be careful to keep your hands clean when at school and around those with colds so you limit transmission. Make sure you keep healthy and get enough sleep as these can effect your immune function. In your nose there are little hairs that help keep out germs, maybe you have less hairs than others, have you seen a doctor about it?

I am only good at breathing through my mouth as well! I haven’t had a cold all that much- maybe just some people have noses that aren’t very good at breathing through! I wouldn’t put this down to a weak immune system.

well it may well be weakened by the infection..but you don’t have a weak one and thats why you got the inefction.
best to check with the Dr especially if you have a fierce cough while antibiotics aren’t given for colds they can be for chest infections
