Yes..i think everyone has to come to an understanding as to what the beleive in and how that fits together. I have faith and belief in Evolution and the notion of something existing after death.I don’t view them as contradictory, although i understand that others do

People can and should work along side each other, irrespective of their personal beliefs.
For me, evidence is the key, extraordinary claims demand extraordinary evidence. Science provides testable and verifiable evidence.

Absolutely they can. They are different and need not be enemies. They have nothing to argue against. They both want to help human beings and can do so without unneccessary arguments.

You will probably find that those who try to impose ‘things’ on each other are those who have something to hide (usually power and money).

Religion can deal with the spiritual world mostly whereas science can deal with the physical world to find out how it works. There are dogmatic people in both camps and these are the people that cause most of the trouble.

I personally see no conflict and I find such arguments irrelevant and useless. They help nobody. the only statement I would like to make here is that I personally would like to separate the ‘interests’ of the Church (whatever religious affiliations) and the teachings of religion (again whatever religion). Usually the teachings of religions are generally good for most people (love and help each other etc) but sometimes the organised church (as some organised scientific establishments) lose track and focus. After all we are all feeble human beings.

      🙂

I am not religious either, but respect people’s point of view. Religion and science can definitely co-exisit in some form. I do find it difficult for very strong religious belifs to co-exisit with science…. if you believe that evolution never happened, and that a God created all of the Earth, then a lot of science doesn’t make much sense…
