• Question: Is it true that Diet Coke can give multiple sclerosis? If so why?

      I don’t believe there is any real evidence for this, don’t believe everything that papers say or scientists in papers for that matter. You only have to look at the NMR scare and what that did for child deahs from measles because mothers were too scared to give their children measles vaccine!

      No, it’s not true at all. It has been ‘rumoured’ the sweetener in Diet Coke, aspartame, can cause MS. No such link between aspartame and MS has been demonstrated.

      Never heard of that, and they would never be allowed to sell it if there was even a hint that it would.

      some deit drinks contain aspartame a sweetner that is amde up not of sugars but of 2 amino acids. A small number of people with a genetic deficiencey in an enzyme have to watch how much amino acids they consume Pop is an unlikey souirce of these amino acids so cwertain diet drinks have to contain awarning contains source of phenylalanine . The result of too many amino acids to these sdmall group would be neurological.. perhapos thats where this idea came from…
