      Josh,

      The relevant film was science fiction but considering the huge scale of the Universe no one would be able to give 100% assurance that such a planet does not exist somewhere in the Universe.

      I have never seen the planet of the apes I am afraid, so don’t really know….. But seeing as though humans evolved from apes, it is likely the Earth was a planet of the apes at some point (but probably very different from the film I would guess)

      THe films and books are..and if there are such things as infinite numbers of parrallel universes then the maths suggests it could be real..
      But anywhere nearby that we are likely to visit..? Unlikely i’d say
