I’m afraid there is no cure for asthma. There are medicines to relieve the symptoms and often, childhood asthma can go away as you get older.

      Hello Ann,

I am not aware of a universal cure for all types of asthma but there are many excellent remedies and drugs available to control it effectively.

Not currently , no. Asthma is the contraction of your airways that limits breathing and there are literally hundreds if not more causes for it

due to our geentic make up and how we developed asthma there is unlikely to be ever a general cure or treatment as each will be specific to the individual

and this is the recent developments on looking for treatments and cures….

Not as such but teh severity of the condition can depend on many factors including how old the subject is. Most people control their asthma by avoiding the triggers that cause an attack and in some cases the number of attacks will fall over time and within 10 you can be free of it but this is obviously not the case for all people. There are many inhaalers that control the asthma well! Are you asthmatic?
