Question: it says you have cloned a sheep would you in the future like to clone other thing like bigger animals or maybe even people ?

I did clone a sheep but now I work in a different area of research and I am interested in vaccines responses in infants. People have cloned bigger things and when I worked in Edinburgh we used to get all sorts of requests to clone things like racing horses and camels but it is not easy to clone any animal. It took me two years to clone a sheep. Pig cloning has always been very difficult because the cells are very fatty and the mother pig will reject the embryos if less than 2 out of 10 survive. Obviously human cloning is ilegal but I don’t think it would even be possible, it woudl be too difficult and there would be a lot of failures in the process – not a nice thought!
