It is going to cause humankind to make changes one way or the other.
Either we change our lifestyles to limit it, or we adapt to the changes it is going to bring
Either way we will adapt, humans always do, but it would be nice if we could take responsibility for what we, collectively, are doing, rather than trya nd get away with doing something , but not so much to upset prospective voters.
Maybe a bit cynical…its only my opinion

The scientific evidence is that the earth is getting warmer. There is a heated debate in some quarters as to the cause of it, but the best evidence is that there are too many man made greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere, trapping the sun’s heat, causing the earth to get warmer.
I think we should do all we can to cut down on our use of fossil fuels and as matter of great urgency find new sustainable ways of producing all the energy we use. At the same time, it doesn’t hurt to try and use less energy.

      Hi bill,

I think it has some effect on climate but more studies are needed to accurately quantify the scale of the effects. In any case it is best to be cautious and try to protect our environment as much as possible rather than take a chance in something that we do not quite understand fully.

I think there is strong evidence for it happening, and that we need to find alternative energy sources and work together as a planet to tackle it.

It seems to be happening and we should face up to it sooner rather than later!
