• Question: what can biting your nails lead too?

      perhaps sometimes if your fingers are infected by bad bacteria it is not a good idea to bite your nails.

      Biting your nails is a dirty habit, and can lead to illnesses if you have dirty nails (with lots of microbes under there).

      But I must admit I have bitten my nails for years, and there is nothing wrong with me!

      well bite too close to the skin and you can cut the skin and lead to an infection…also the skin under the nail is softer than “normal” skin. As someone who has lost nails through hotting a wall by accident ..the skin underneath is soft and feels very odd when no nail is there. Also bite your nails and you will be “eating” wahtever might get under your nails….so think about what that might be
