Wow. I like my sleep a lot to try this experiment. After about 72 hours without sleep you become very weak and do not function properly.

For me it is loads. I need at least 8 hours of sleep although rarely get it. Some people seem to get by with as little as 4 hours of sleep but sleep is essential. If you were deprived of sleep for about 2 weeks you can die! It has been used as a form of torture in the past.

I’m no expert, but I know adults need about 7-8 hours per night on avarage (49-56 hours per week). some people can get away with less, about 5hrs per night, some need more about 10 hours per night.

This all depends on the person. I can survive of only a few hours of sleep a night quite easily. My wife is not great without at least 6 hours! So, I think it all depends on the person, and what they do during the day.

probably about 56 hrs ( 8-9hrs a night) for a teenager, but it will differ according to age
