      I’m not sure about the smallest or largest, but the average mass is about 0.00000000001g (10 pico grams).

      well if microbe is bacteria then a member of the nanoarchea familly or mycoplasma which are about the same size as the larger viruses.
      Viruses can get to much much smaller as they are basically some genes wrapped in a protein shell
