well Matk T is quite close to my own..so i am interested inm that but maybe thats too close.. Sarah’s area is very worthwhile, directly helping people..and to be honest i hope she wins as £500 where she works would do a huge amount of good.
I think Panios as its chemistry and i did not do so well at A-level in chemistry and while i am happy with the bits i need for microbiology , there are huge swathes of the topic that makes less sense to me than i would like…
Plus he lives in Nottingham too so its not a long way to travel for study

      good question

If you mean in the Clean Zone, I’d be very interested to learn more about immunology, how the immune system works and how we can help it work better, that would be Sarah’s and MarkT’s work.
Of those two I’d probably choose Sarah’s, as what she does in The Gambia will have immedate life enhancing consequences for the children she works with.
My mum also likes what Sarah does and I could never disagree with her could I, she was a Head Teacher?!?! 🙂
I have been interested enough since the start of IAS to go and read a couple of papers MarkT and Sarah have published, so there you go.

It will have to be MarkF’s subjects as his research topic is not that far from mine. I am biased as I think what I study is very important and very enjoyable to study too..!

Microbiology – always thought humans were better than bugs but I htink it would be good for me to know more about bugs as well!
