• Question: why do you want to do the things you have said with the prize money? wouldnt you rather spend it on a new project?

      It would be better spent on education and seeing students go to conferences. What is most use to me is pairs of hands. I have no staff working for me ( yet) so i have to fit my research around my teaching and most of the research is done by me personally or by students doing their degree, or volunteers who come to work in the lab to learn techniques off me.
      I’d rather allow them to go to a conference, or encourage school studnets into Science, than by a very small piece of equipment that i still have no time to use . ( equipment is quite expensive)
