• Question: Why is anti-matter so expensive?

      I am guessing someone else will be able to answer this a lot better than me, as I don’t dabble in physics very much at all……. but I think this is because it is very hard to make large amounts of it, and requires a lot of energy to do so (in particle accelerators). I found on the web that one billionth of a gram of anti-matter is estimated to cost a few hundred million pounds! So, you are right it is very pricey…..
