• Question: would you ever use any animals to reasurch on? :)

      Scott,

      Not really. My own area of research does not require the use of any animals. The only way I would do research on animals is if I were certain that there is no other alternative and if the potential benefits of such research were big for curing a human disease.

      I have used rats. It’s not nice, but sometimes we have to. The alternatives are not good enough yet, but I really hope they will be soon. I didn’t enjoy the experience.
